DIY Headband (Inspired by Joanna B)

First Id like to thank Joanna for posting up such an awesome diy tutorial. I'm a sucker for headbands & since they are like $7-10 each, I figured why the heck not do it myself? My first attempt wasn't very solid.. I should have made the braid thicker, but again first attempt.

Here we go.


I braided extensions that my mom had, again should have cut off a thicker piece.


I have millions of buttons & such so I used that to connect the ends of each braid (extension) using a needle with black thread, since I have brown hair.


As you can see, I choose 2 buttons, it can be sequins & other things too.


Using your needle & thread connect the end of the braid (extensions) with black elastic so it can be stretched when you put it on.


Ghettofied, but whatever lol. You can cut the hair that's coming out of the buttons, but I figured Id leave it.


End result, deff wanted the braid thicker.


Brought back my lil Rebel of a Canon in the bathroom :)
